Red White & Blue Decorative Wood & Glass Box

Red, white, and blue provide the sober background for the flower designs, developed in effortless harmony by Peruvian artisan Asunta Pelaez. Gold detailing offers a touch of Peruvian elegance to this set of three boxes. Pelaez first shapes the wood and then inlays panes of glass, which she has painted on the reverse sides with a combination of Chinese ink and tempera.
